The Conejo Valley Interfaith Association (CVIA) and its service arm, the Women’s Interfaith Network (WIN), partner together to bring faith communities closer through dialogue, understanding, and action. CVIA creates a sacred space where people of all beliefs can come together to celebrate shared values and respect differences, thereby fostering peace and harmony in our community. WIN takes these interfaith principles and transforms them into meaningful service projects, supporting local families, refugees, and those in need while strengthening bonds across faiths. Together, CVIA and WIN invite you to explore, participate, and experience the power of unity through both conversation and compassionate action.

Conejo Valley Interfaith Association creates a “sacred space” for clergy and interfaith representatives to dialogue and commune together by seeking out and celebrating our commonalities, while accepting and respecting our differences in belief and practice, in order to live together in greater understanding, peace and harmony. Our motto is the Golden Rule which is common to most religious traditions:
“One should treat others as one would like others
to treat them.”
All faiths are welcome.
Shalom, Salaam, Shanti, Peace & Blessings
The Conejo Valley Interfaith Association (CVIA) meets on the second Tuesday of each month for a 90-minute gathering paired with a light lunch. Our meeting locations rotate among local houses of worship and civic venues. Meeting topics typically address current local events, community activities, and education on how our faith addresses specific questions or themes.
For those who cannot join in person, we provide a video link to participate remotely.
For more than 40 years, the CVIA has presented an annual Thanksgiving Community Services. Hosted at a different venue each year across the Conejo Valley, this inspiring event features music and messages from more than a dozen faith traditions, all united around a common theme of gratitude and peace.
As a service arm of the Conejo Valley Interfaith Association, the
Women’s Interfaith Network is an inclusive group representing the faiths of our community. We recognize that we have strength together more than we have alone. We find we better live our lives when we work together. We are a project-driven group hosting service projects together for those in need in our community.
WIN was initially formed in the Summer of 2016 when a group of about ten women from various faiths got together to help a Syrian refugee family settle here in the U.S. It started with WIN creating kitchen and bathroom welcome baskets filled with supplies for their new home.
Since then, the group has grown to include over 21 houses of faith. Each month, members propose service projects that serve our local community and, in some cases, communities abroad.

WIN actively supports the needs of our local non-profits including Harbor House, Loaves and Fishes, Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank, The Conejo Closet, James Storehouse, Conejo Community Outreach, Westminster Free Clinic, Adelante Comunidad Conejo , Safe Passage Youth, Many Mansions, Interface Children and Family Services, Conejo Interfaith Refugee Team, Casa Pacifica and many more.
The group meets monthly via Zoom to plan community service projects and coordinate volunteer efforts. Members suggest ideas, and together the group selects projects several months in advance. Each participating house of faith then spreads the word among its members to gather supplies and volunteers. (Many of our projects can also be found on JustServe.org.)
Over the years, WIN has organized a wide range of service efforts, including collection drives for Suits for Soldiers and shoe, purse, coat, and jean donations to local organizations. Other initiatives have included diaper and underwear drives, foster care gift drives, and birthday boxes.
Together, WIN members turn compassion into action — strengthening our community through shared service, generosity, and faith.
